This weekend we went to Dubuque Iowa for our cousins wedding. I had no clue that this town was going to be so beautiful!! Dubuque sits right on the Mississippi River where you can walk along the entire shore. We stayed at a hotel called The Grand Harbor Resortwhich was right on the river and if you were lucky you could have a river view. This place was in a prime location. It was next to the river walk, a brewery’s, The Stone Cliff Winery, fun bars and the Diamond Jo Casino Dubuque! We spent the day watching the ships go by, taste testing at the winery and enjoying our cousins wedding which was RIGHT on the river. What a dream come true! I would for sure go back to Dubuque and next time stay longer!

My mom and I took a trip to explore New Orleans this year so that we could attend the International Pool and Spa Convention for Macke Pool Products. Katie, Grandma and Lenore joined us!
