This is a section of the website where people can interact with our amazing map and find things to do and places to see. You and your friends and generating the content on this map, that’s the best part! Once you create a profile you are also able to create your own point of interest listings! You will be able to create a place on the map of an adventure that you enjoy doing. This is a great way to share with others the hidden places to adventure in this world. - When you buy a featured listing you will be able to enjoy multiple different benefits. Here is a list of the benefits-
- Your listing will be one of the first listings people will see when they are in the adventures section of the website.
- When users are searching in a category that your listing is classified under your listing will be on the top with all of the other featured listings.
- You will show up on the side bar in the Travelers Insider section. This will be a random so sometime you listing will show up and other times it will not. Our system gives everyone the same amount of time being featured on that page.
- A recommendation is when you experienced an adventure and you would like to give your thoughts and opinions about your experience. In order to make a recommendation there needs to be a listing. You will have a section on your profile where you and your friends will be able to see each others recommendations.
- The Memories section in the Travelers insider is designed to be your online photo gallery! You can add a description to each picture and album explain what the picture and gallery is all about! You can organize your memories however you would like. You can also choose which albums you want public and which ones you would like private.
- When you favorite a listing all you have to do is click the little heart on the listings page. Once you do that the listing will pop up in your profile under the favorites tab. Favoriting a listings will help you remember the places you want to see and the things you want to do. Your friends and family will also be able to see the adventures you favorited so that they can find fun things to do themselves!
- The developers are working on a feature that will let you adjust your cover photo to where you would like it to be shown. Until then you will only be able to see the top part of or images.
- If you cannot find a listing on the map it is because it hasn’t been created yet. This would be a perfect opportunity to create a listing for that adventure! If it is a business you could reach out to them and let them know about Rec IT adventures and tell them to create a listing on our site!
- The memories section is completely for creating albums to house you images. You can make these albums public or private, it is completely up to you! You are also able to label every picture with text so that you can remember what had happened in that photo.

- When you are in the Travelers insider section and you listing isn’t showing on the side it’s because this section is shared with all other listings that are featured. All listings that are featured get randomly placed by our system in this section. All listings get an equal amount of featured time.
