Saturday we decided to use one of the last nice fall days and take out the side by sides for a fun day looking at the fall colors. We started our trip just north of Royalton! There is a trailhead with a big tan sign that you turn into right off highway 10. There was lots of parking for our entire group. We all unloaded our trailers, used the restrooms, and hit the Soo line trail. It was pretty dusty so I would recommend bringing goggles as our eyes were dried out by the end of the day.
Our first stop was at a small bar in Hillman called Brothers Porky Pine Bar and Grille. It was a bit off the trail but we were hungry and excited to eat. This place had great service and the food was pretty good! Three of us ate the large size sampler platter and it filled us right up. We had a few technical difficulties with my side but were able to get back on the road ripping.
We stopped at our friends cabin and hit the Pine Center Trail. This one was amazing as the fall leaves were turning and it was a fun windy trail and we were able to find some mud! We stopped again at a bar on the trail to get some snacks and take a quick breather. Instead of following the loop back we decided to hit the Crow Wing Southern Loop. This loop was mainly roads and when we got to little falls we ran out of “trail” so we had to find our way back by road to find the soo line entrance again.
I would definitely recommend not taking this trail back as there isn’t much uniqueness to it. All in all, it was a fun and dusty adventure definitely worth trailering to!

She is a nurse at the St.Cloud Hospital and she had been keeping her distance to try and keep her friends and family safe. She came up with this great idea to go kayaking down the Mississippi River. This is a Read more...
